There was no 'PGP for Dummies' tutorial for OS X on the internet. When I decided to set up my Mac with PGP encrypted communications, I could not believe how hard it was - not just to set up the software, but to understand how to use PGP properly. If your path isn't working but you're sure you did it right, try logging out and logging back in. If that works, you only messed up changing your path, if it doesn't work, try re-installing. If that's the case, you can try typing in: (note the quotes). However, if it says: Then something went wrong. If gnupg gives you this: Then you're all done. From a command line (Start -> Run -> type 'cmd' -> OK), type gpg -version.In order for this to take effect you must close any open command windows and start a new one.Click OK until you're out of the System dialog box.
